My Dad always said his home was his castle, but I assure you it looked nothing like this and he charged me a damn sight more that £49, AND I had to cook my own breakfast (pour it into a bowl).
£49 overnight stay for two including accommodation in a Castle Double Room with full Cornish breakfast. Sounds like a little bit of a bargain to me and might be a great chance for a pre-Christmas getaway.
Looks like it needs a bit of a trim on the outside, but the inside looks gorgeous.
Hope this helps somebody x

Mixed reviews but I guess for the price, with Brekky it should be OK for a break by the sea and be a bit nicer atmosphere than a Premier Inn or Travellodge. Good spot

This is a great offer, haven't used travel zoo myself but if they offer an upgrade to a seaview room, go for it.
The all you can eat buffet breakfast you get here is great and is makes this so cheap compared to going into town to eat, easily £15 a head to eat in town means you are paying £20 for a room!!!
I live in st Ives and always book my family in at Tregenna when they come to visit.

Ive been to Tregenna castle and would recommend it. I went for the west wing sea view room and it was great.
And just a short walk down to the beach (and a steep one back!).

I got a Tregenna Castle 2 nights for £99 package as a gift for my daughter and her partner about 5 years ago.
They absolutely loved it and couldn't fault anything about their stay (but of course things could have changed...).
The previous comment about the path down to the beach is also spot on!

Ex BTH Hotel was the same group as Gleneagles, Turnberry, Old Course St Andrews and many more great railway hotels.
