​ORAS all the way, and anywhere below £20 is a steal! Both pairs of games are pretty close, but I'd say the latest once are slightly better, plus X and Y are getting quite cheap and you could pick up a copy later in a sale for maybe £15 - £20?
In terms of features, ORAS has everything X and Y has, but you no longer need a Pokémon with fly in your party to take to the skies, there are more mega evolutions and everything new that comes out from now on, will be optimised for ORAS And... it's personally my favourite region out of all Pokémon games :smile: hope that helps you pal :smiley:

You should pick up both. I think ORAS is far better because it catches all the legendary Pokemon from older games (not the event ones like Mew, etc). If you get X/Y also then you can transfer them into ORAS to complete it. No matter which game you pick, grab a code from GAME as the pokemon event ends on the 5th (that's on Thursday). It's for Hoopa and can only be done in X/Y or ORAS.

Didn't like their recent forays into a more "towny" feel. For me the OR/AS games are the pinnacle of Pokemon playability!

I think I like X/Y better than ORAS, but only slightly. Both sets of games are very good and if you liked White, you'll love these games. I may be slightly biased with my favoritism though, because I completed the whole Pokedex for the first time in Y, so I remember it best. But id advise you to play both X/Y and ORAS if you get the chance :smiley:
