No way would you pay £16.99 for this but £5 and 100 clubcard points seems a good stocking filler or something for the Christmas Eve box? You get a spider man tin, story book, colouring in book, activity book, 50 stickers, 4 felt tips pens and a double sided poster to colour in on one side. Also in the clubcard boost of you have any spare points left could potentially get it for £2.50 worth of points. Free click and collect in store and 1.5% Quidco possible too

What's with this christmas eve box thing? This is the first year I've heard lots of mention of it. Seems to me to be a box of presents given to the child the day before they get even more presents. Seems a bit unneccesary.
Stocking fillers I understand as they get that on Christmas Day morning, but presents the day before, then a stocking and then even more presents seems way over the top to me.
This has been your daily bar humbug rant, look out for more throughout the next month. No doubt those bloody flamedeer will be here any time now!!!

Lots of Baaaahhumbugggg in here. The Christmas eve box is a lovely idea, and is only as expensive as you make it.
Mine will have the kids new pj's and slippers they'd normally get as a present on the day, reindeer food (oats and glitter mixed in a bag) a Christmas colouring page I printed off t'internets, a letter from santa, also printed, a hot chocolate sachet (35p) homemade cookies and a key for santa (£1.25 from ebay)
So yeah, bahhhhumbug you lot! lol.

Had a £4.50 voucher on my account (agonisingly short of being able to double up!) but grabbed a couple for the Xmas Eve boxes, the extra points definitely make it worthwhile

its all about making money- so if this new 'box' gift concept before xmas day makes money then it will become a trend. from child point of view - more gifts, from parents point of view- getting poor, from supermarket point of view- more profits and meeting the targets.

It's about keeping the children quiet with a box of tat long enough for the parents to get a head start on the sherry

We always had a small present Christmas Eve when we were kids, its nothing new. Usually Pyjamas or something so you go to bed christmas night in new jammies ready for Santa coming!

Never heard of the Christmas Eve box until right now and already I can tell it's a load of garbage. If I ever have a kid, he/she will definitely not be getting a bloody Christmas Eve box!
