Normally i would agree. There is a reason they are so widely used on building sites. 453 is about the lowest of the range though though. Doesn't even get a work light.

I think he meant the 'Professional' (blue) range as opposed to the DiY (green) range. Not exactly cut and dry though - the Bosch trim router walks all over the Makita one, as does the new range of sliding compound mitre saws. However, the Makita drills are ahead in my book.
