Amazing deal if you prefer Istanbul for a short break with only hand luggage of course. But even so, a very cheap price in comparison to other airlines in that time of the year.

Grand airline, fairly smooth flight. Bit of a trek into the city centre from that airport though. When I went luggage was included, but now I see it's an extra £2 each way (Whoaaaa!!!)
Luckily there's buses outside the terminal, just buy a prepay card off the guy in the booth and away you go. Utterly fantastic city.
I flew with Pegasus in July from Manchester to Dalaman, Turkey and I was very pleased with the experience. We were given 20kg baggage allowance along with the hand luggage at that time on a basic deal which was pleasing.
So I would definitly give them 5 out of 5 for value for money in comparison to other budget airlines.

Depends on the time of day and where exactly you want to go, but approximately half an hour drive from the last time I went was in 2005 and it was night time.

We took a midday transfer and it took about 50 minutes. Cost was £3 per person each way.

Its approx 50km from central Istanbul (Taksim Sq.).
There is a Havatas shuttle bus every 30mins which costs 14tl and if the roads are quiet will take 45mins or so. If the second bridge is rammed like it often is, it can take up to 2hrs.
As long as you don't have too much luggage, an alternative is to head for Bostanci and catch the Sea Bus to Kabatas (tram & metro hub, a few mins from Taksim).

great price. just booked end of May- beginning of June.
FYI, there are two airports in Istanbul. this one is a bit of a way out, so you may pay more for transfers. The price is excellent though, so makes up for that!
