I had a G3 and never fancied the circle flip case for some reason. I'm not a fan of cases that replace the back cover.
Now I have a G4 and paid £6 for this quick circle case that you clip the phone into as opposed to taking the back off and it seems to work identically to the genuine LG Circle Case ... the clock comes on and you can flip the clock round to access apps through the window. It just looks really cool when you close it!
Available for the same price from Ebuyer.com and at least a UK model

I purchased one of these 2 weeks ago but it got very warm when browsing on the Internet (Wifi and 4G) at the same time the battery lost 1% for every minute I was browsing. So I sent it back for a refund. Has any one else experienced this or did I just get a duffer.

Yup, sorry to say, (or maybe pleased from my own perspective!) I think you got a duffer..

Duffer, I was using mine for testing a web page yesterday so that took a while and the battery seemed fine on it
I suspect any intensive game will hammer the battery though give the screen resolution, but that's true of any new phone

Yeah, I'm tempted to get another G4 as i really did like it. Don't know why it heated up (at the top around the camera) & used the battery when browsing as watching YouTube or listening to music the phone stayed cool.
I even did a full factory reset & tried different browsers but it still happened.

The heath problem with the Qualcomm 810 processor is real and leads to throttling = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HltGLYZLySs

Not necessarily. My Galaxy note 2 does this sometimes - I run cooltool cpu monitor to see if CPU is maxing out. I have had mixed results across Dolphin/Chrome/Opera browsers - one of these will drain the battery under certain scenarios. Warm == some app running at 100% - and could be related to wifi/4g or some other. It is a real shame Android doesnt show you/help you diagnose this. (It is in there in settings and many tools help, but people shouldnt need to run/install apps to detect a runaway/broken app).
Something as innocuous as web browsing, advert injection and it catering to your taste, resulting in a horrible flash/advert eating CPU and/or the region you are in.

The LG G4 has a snapdragon 808 which has absolutely no heat problems.

By the way chums, very happy with this case - has wireless charging built in and replaces back cover:
