Does anyone know where i can buy cheap base plates for duplo. Cant find anything less than £10.
I know Wilkos do compatible bricks but not sure if the lego duplo will work with the wilkos "lego brick" base plates

the standard bricks are compatible in that they will solidly lock on with a wilko "Lego" baseplate, but any Duplo characters/fences / animals etc are not.

Tried ASDA a few times, Terrible experience and hate them.
Case 1: (Online Order & Collect) Average 30 mins wait time for collection of online order at my local ASDA(Leyton), The staff came out after your long wait and told you the email you received was system error, your orders have not arrived, advised me to come back in a few days.
case 2: (Online order & Collect) It never arrived, had to call customer service to get refund
case 3: (Online order & Collect) Ordered 4 really useful boxes, went for collection and been told two of them not arrived yet, went back again in two days and one of the boxes has a broken corner, still had to call customer service to get the refunded.
case 4: (Online Groceries & Delivery) Ordered about £40 stuffs and ASDA delivered majority of them as substitution products (about £20) which they think it's equivalent to my original ordered (A brand apple juice become B brand orange juice), the delivery driver said nothing and left me to find out, Called customer service and have been told to bring in what i don't want.
So, Good price but i wish it's not ASDA

I ordered with click & collect once and after waiting in the shop for about half an hour I had to leave empty handed. My item had disappeared, although it was on the computer as ready to pick up. Had to catch two buses to get there so wasn't very happy.
Also, while there my Mum bought a 4 slice toaster. They didn't even have a bag or anything to put it in. Staff didn't seem at all bothered. Had to struggle home with a large aukward box. Terrible customer service.

If you c+collect to a superstore, the max you will wait is about 10mins. Its automated and quick. Whereas the supermarket being a small store, staff have to multitask, most being incompetent too or not knowing where the parcels are.
They did have a problem with their database recently. Which has been rectified. I order from Asda all the time. George and groceries. No one is obliged to continue the transaction if its not what you ordered. Simple no and you get a refund.
If your parcel has been lost in transit then its the colleague at the store who is responsible to get you the refund. Its all automated now. Cannot fault them.

The Lego deals have been rather uninspiring of late, the retailers are holding back to Boxing Day.
Buy some other toy brands for now, show them who's boss of spending.
