Iphone 6s 64GB Gold - Vodafone - Ultd/Ultd/2GB - £26 per month with £100 upfront using code BETTER64.
Credit to Mitchy69 for finding this.
Great deal, but please be aware that Vodafone is the only major network who doesn't automatically cap your data. If you go over your 2GB limit you'll be charged £6.50 for every 250MB extra you use. Ensure that you set a data limit in the phone's settings menu to prevent such charges.

Any idea how Vodafone are with going over your data allowance? What happens when you reach the 2 gb limit? Do they charge you for going over or they stop your data usage? Also can you increase your data by adding some ad dons or....?
preecey to ionuttd
18 Nov 15#39
When you approach your limit they will send you texts to alert you but they won't stop your data. They will automatically charge you £6.50 for every block of 250MB you use over your allowance, even if you've gone over by as little as 1KB
Make sure you set a data limit in the phones settings menu so you won't get hit by these extortionate charges. Vodafone is still the only major network that doesn't automatically cut off your data when you reach your limit. Other networks stop your data and present you with a holding page asking you to buy more before you can go back online.

In my department at work 5 of the guys recently signed up to Vodafone as we get 20% discount from them and every single one of them has had magor issues with customer service including one guy having £500 taken out of his account because he was charged for data despite having 3 months unlimited off them, another guy had to send his brand new iPhone back as they did the Admin wrong. It often takes 1 hour plus to get through to customer service. The worse customer service by far in my opinion, shame as the network coverage is really good.

This deal or the other 64gb iPhone o2 deal with mobiles.co.uk are both good, this one probably better if you can get the £50 mazuma code on this deal and you are alright with the 2gb in stead of 3gb.
I work it out to be £45 for the extra 1gb spread that over the 24months and its £1.87 per the extra gig per month
Thats if there still doing the mazuma £50 off on the O2 deal? and not this deal, but if you can get the £50 off against this deal then its £3.95 extra the you'll pay per 1gig per month between this deal and the O2 one.
Filter on handset cost £200+ and scroll to the bottom to the £250 handset / £26 pcm.
The BETTER64 code only works on the Gold phone. This code applies £150 discount.

Look at the SU6 thread nd you will see its popular because of the ability/size/price. What can you do with an iphone thats you can't do with the SU6, and and obviously i don't mean itunes etc?
Bossworld
19 Nov 15#147
Well for one, on my iPhone, I can actually use the spell check options.
Her iTunes content is synced with the SU6 via DoubleTwist, only cost about £8. As per my previous post, it's a lovely big screen, but it's not in the same league as a premium handset, be it Android or iOS.
Again, do you have an iPhone 6S within your possession?

I was originally on 12.99 sim only unlimited texts/calls 2gb of data but when i signed up they only gave me 1gb of data for the first two months so when i rang up to complain the customer service guy put me up to 3gb of data a month as a good will gesture
My 12 month was coming to a end and i got a phonecall from ee retentions offering me that deal to sign back up

The SU6 has spell checker, settings>language & input>spell checker. The iphone is far and away a better phone, i just question the need to spend so much on a device that does the same.

19 Nov 15#151
Does this phone start unlocked like other devices? If it locks to the first sim entered, can I put in an o2 sim, get o2 to unlock it, then use the vodafone sim?
preecey to rerixo
19 Nov 15#152
Yes, they are initially unlocked but will lock to the network of the first SIM. Don't risk it. On the other thread people are reporting that O2 aren't willing to unlock (or 'unlatch' as they bizarrely call it) the 6s yet.
You could (not saying that you should) go down the Three SIM route but it won't actually unlock the phone straight away and you'll have to follow the instruction in this post to get them to unlock it:
This would have been perfect for me, if it had been Silver or Space Grey :disappointed:

I would prefer EE or o2 personally but this deal has to be worth the risk. The cost of the phone itself is £619 which works out to £4.30 per month for the sim part of the deal.
I suggest getting an app called DataMan - it costs £1.49 via the app store and no doubt has saved me a bundle of cash as ive been on networks overseas where usage of data is charged automatically. Its been pretty accurate for me.
I am however thinking of writing to Ofcom to complain about this automatic charge. I am sure that im not the first person to do that. Heat from me, its worth the risk.
Bossworld
19 Nov 15#156
Click the link to the vid and as other people have confirmed in the three threads, it's goosed on the SU6.
Anyway, this is a thread about iPhones and as you keep skirting the question, I suspect you've not got an iPhone 6S to base a comparison on. The beauty of free choice is that some people will want different things to other people, be it a sports car, mobile phone or suit.

That's British management upbringing, from cradle to grave, reason is that they use a scripted, rigid process. Anything outside of this (real life), it is alien to them. And staff member is discouraged or disciplined or sacked for deviating from a process (even if it is "1p" value worth deviation, the bad boy is the one who deviated from process, so called breach of process discipline procedure kicks in, even if it is common sense to deviate even when it is worth nothing or tiny to help customer ).

For me it's not so much the gold on the back of the iphone case as i'd put a skin on the back, But i can't stand the WHITE front, It's too distracting so i prefer a black front, and no i wouldn't put a skin on the front, I've had both silver / white and space grey on past iphones and simply comes down to personal preference.

I cant believe people are worried about the back of the phone. Anybody who has ever owned an Iphone after 5 knows that they are light and need protection - just buy yourself a case, preferably a battery case as this solves two problems even if it does add weight to the phone.

Agree. Caverncity has no one to blame but him/herself. He or she should have alerted their son of the consequences of going over his limit. Vodafone would have sent him texts alerting him of the limit being approached or exceeded and it appears his or her son ignored those texts. However I agree that Vodafone are greedy and they really should introduce automatic caps inline with the other networks.

In this day and age, how can 2gb ever be enough to last for a month?! Few HD youtube videos and your 25% of the limit already... Constantly looking for free wifi and signing up for free spam emails is not the ideal solution either!

Be very surprised if there are any sim free discounts. Apple very rarely knock money off, especially a product that sells so well for them and has only been out 2 months. I've was asking Vodafone what their best price was as they phoned me because my contract is now due for an upgrade and I said there were lots of better deals than they were quoting me on numerous sites. they said that several people had called to see if they will price match this site and they cannot but they also said: just to give you some info regaring mobiles.co.uk. They are a 3rd party company and so the phone and contract is supplied by them not Vodafone. It also says on their website that they cannot guarantee that the seal will not be broken on the phone boxes when the customer receives it. Also at the checkout they add on Gadget Helpline - first month FREE, then you pay £23.94 every 6 months by direct debit AND
PhoneCare Insurance - first month FREE, then you pay £7.99/month. You have to cancel these yourself with each individual company afterwards if you dont want them and it costs to ring those companies.

I want to order this before it ends or becomes oos. My problem however is that I've lived at more than 2 addresses in the last 3 years and the application won't allow me to proceed with my order. Do you think it'll be ok to do the application and lie about how long I've lived at the 2 addresses by a few months and then email or call them in the morning to clarify? Or would this automatically mean credit check failure? Thanks.

Follow the link
It'll present you with the iPhone 64gb gold colour with the plan advertised above. Add this to the basket.
Then go into your basket and enter BETTER64 into the voucher box near the bottom of the page.
It will discount £150 from the £250 up front cost bringing it down to £100.
Now to get any other colour you must click on the mobiles header at the top of the basket page.
This will take you to the home page where you can search for the same phone via the phone selector.
Category- Contract
Brand- Apple
Phone- Search for IPhone 64gb and your desired colour.
The deal will come up again but in your chosen colour.
Add it to you basket and then delete the gold one (unless you want to buy two lol)

Have to agree with others regarding Vodafone's poor customer service. Joined last year due to a 20% discount through a work benefit and have had no end of issues throughout the year. Now looking to leave - happy to pay the extra elsewhere and get all my time back from calling customer services, getting nowhere, never getting called back as promised - then going through the cycle again. Would recommend all to steer clear - awful company

Tempted - sooooo tempted - but 2GB data just isn't enough, and worried I wouldn't be able to apply the 20% Vodafone discount I currently get if I buy through mobiles.co.uk...
I looked at the muzuma mobile deal where you get an additional £50 on top of the trade in value if you order this 6S deal through the mazuma website. In the first sentance of the T&C's for the deal it clearly says you need to click through to the qualifying URL of http://www.mobiles.co.uk/mazuma. However, this gives me a 404 error. I have contacted Mazuma for clarification this morning, but no response yet.
Has anyone received confirmation of the additional £50 using this deal? If so, what steps did you take?
Also, does anyone know if the BETTER64 or BLACKFRI6S work with any iPhone 6S Plus varieties? I've tried a few combinations of phone and tarrif and neither are working.
Lastly, where do people find these codes??!!

Ah right, my credit check also failed and I have a good credit rating but I submitted another order last night so we will see what happens. If it fails again they can go ________ and hopefully another deal will pop up closer to Black Friday that is not Vodafone and their crap third party credit check company. For everyone saying vodafone has such a bad customer service you would think they would try get as much customers as possible not decline customers trying to give them £724.

Does it go on your credit rating / credit file if you have failed, i don't want to keep ordering if that's the case?
mubashar to chris_61
20 Nov 15#383
Yes, the search will leave a record on your file which is visible when you authorise future searches. Others can then see that a search was conducted and no contracted taken out, This can be a flag for future prospective creditors as they will deduce that you may have got declined.
It difficult to say if an isolated search would otherwise reduce your credit score but for sure if there are multiple searches (even if not declined) over the course of a few months, that would result in decrease in your credit score.
It's a messy business of calculating your risk profile and in the credit world, you are not always treated as innocent before proven guilty.
It is often worth checking which credit rating agency is used so if you have had a decline on agency X used by Vodafone, then might be better of aiming for a network that does not use credit rating agency X at least in the short term.

thinking out load question...
could you sign up for this deal, get the handset and put in an O2 sim (supposedly locks to 1st sim used) and use it; then get the Voda sim that is part of this deal and port another number to it and then use that sim in an old iphone 5 (unlocked)
ie I have a 12 month sim only contract still running, so would use it in the 6 and stick the voda sim (port her number) and use it in daughter's 5

Same. My wife has a contract expiring next July but it's £13pm with 100MB. Now she needs more. Seems a 2GB sim only is about £16pm so only £10pm more for a new phone seems a great deal. For all those failing credit checks, I think some sites have a problem with people who have moved more than once in the last few years, especially in the last year. They need it to trace your address history and if you can't enter more than one previous address on the site, it fails you.
chris_61
21 Nov 15#423
Haven't moved in the last 20+ Years, I paid £15 to see my Experian report and it's showing as 999 with no obvious signs as to why it would be denied. Vodafone had their chance, I've never had so much hassle trying to sign up for a contract. Hopefully EE or Three will have an iPhone deal soon.

Well, you get unlimited minutes/texts and 2gb data for 24 months as well you know.
And the cheapest I can find that is £10 a month (iD mobile) soy ou are paying (£16x24) +£100 =£484 for the phone. Which is £135 cheaper than apple.

HI - fellow credit check failures.
I have learnt from speaking to Vodafone, that on my application, mobiles.co.uk omitted to send the bank details I had given them. Vodafone ran a check themselves using my customer account that been created for this transaction and told me I was approved for 3 new contracts if i wanted them. They also gave me a credit check reference number.
I phone mobiles.co.uk, they entered this number on my apllication and ta dah!! Fully approved and accepted.
If this deal is really the one for you, then call vodafone, it should be sorted.
Only available on space grey as of 15.00 hrs today.

Hi,
Which number did you ring to speak to Vodafone?
I have great credit rating, and I have another Vodafone contract for past 3 years.
I can't understand why I got declined. Please tell me which number did you call and then who did you give the credit reference number to on what number?
Thanks

21 Nov 15#428
Just called vodafone and can confirm the check failed because mobiles didn't send them the bank details but the woman on the phone didn't know what to do and she couldn't match the deal.
Did you have to give vodafone your bank details, ask them to re-run the check and give you a credit reference number if it passed?
It might work better if you order via mobiles on the phone and they can input it directly into the system? I don't want to try it again as it's already failed twice.

21 Nov 15#430
Hi
Sorry to hear your having same nightmare I had!
Vodafone updated my application with bank details, then ran credit check themselves. Gave me the 9 digit credit check ref they had . Vodafone couldnt match the deal, so then I went back to Mobiles.co.uk and said to re-instate my original order and where it asks for the 'agreement number' put in the credit check ref.
Hope you get it sorted.

Just returned from EE with my friends and family voucher so 30% off. They could get down to £27pm for UNLTD/UNTLD/1GB but no lower than £199 for the handset. The guy said I should choose this deal instead.
chris_61
21 Nov 15#432
Nightmare is one way to put it. Just off the phone to them again, I give up, i got someone else on the phone and he told me he can't do another credit check for 90 days because the first one failed and even if i kept hassling them about it, the coupon code on mobiles doesn't seem to be working on space grey so they would probably find some way to not re-instate the order.
Thanks for your help

I think it worked as they re-instated my original order that they initially failed a credit check on and the guy on the phone said space grey was in stock. I wrongly assumed the code would still work for new orders, sorry if this misled you.

Yes Craig, I've done it. You just get your PAC code from your old non-Vodafone provider by calling them and asking for it, the call Vodafone once your sim has arrived and tell them the PAC code.
It takes Vodafone up to 48 hours to processs.
It is also possible if you are already on Vodafone but you have to do a porting triangle.

I had the same problem twice for this deal. I even went ahead and requested PAC for my EE sim. Later some one rang me from EE and offered a deal which costs £100 more than above deal. At that time my order was not yet rejected hence I told them I will stay back if you match the deal. Next day I had a call from EE that they match monthly payments but I have to pay £140 upfront and I agreed the deal. I also got sim only for my wife £9.49 per month 2000 min, unlimited texts and 4Gig of data. Very satisfied with EE

I just ordered two...pretty straight forward if they arrive when described. I don't expect any trouble carrying phone number - I've done it four or five times and never had any trouble from suppliers. Fingers crossed this time it's the same.

I have just done mine, i rang EE and cancelled and got the PAC. When i use the PAC the contract will be cancelled and my last bill will include cancellation charges. If i dont use the PAC then the contract will resume as normal.
Seriously though, good luck with cancelling with three. Took me 45 minutes of rejecting their offers of new phone contracts and ipads. Then eventually put me through to the manager who was even worse than the salesman. Never again

Well it's taken all morning however my iPhone will be arriving tomorrow. I was declined twice, I spent 20mins on hold to mobiles.co.uk to be told it was Vodafone decision and to ring them to try and get a BAN number. Rang Vodafone and they said mobiles weren't sending the bank details through so Vodafone were automatically declining it. Vodafone took my bank details re credit checked me, all fine, gave me an account number to pass to mobiles - sorted. Rang mobiles back who resubmitted application, went to refer to Vodafone, mobiles rang me back within an hour to confirm it has all gone through and phone will arrive tomorrow. Bit of a faff but well worth it to get this great deal (Vodafone tried to get me to sign up with them but was £49.99 month for same!) am very happy now.

So after reading a number of posts on here I knew what to do:
Called Vodafone 03333 040 191 (standard call charges apply) and explained to Customer Services person the problem who passed me to Sales
Sales Person then checked and provided me with Credit Reference Check approval number
I called Mobiles.co.uk Sales 0871 220 3580 (Calls cost 13p per minute plus your telephone provider's access charge!) and explained why I thought I had been refused and he took the Vodafone Credit Reference Check approval number and put it through.

Vodafone have made an absolute mess of porting my number over. Was meant to be done by 4pm today, people still can't call me on my ported number and I've been unable use data all day. Strangely, I can make calls which comes up as the ported number.
Gave Vodafone a ring and the person was very pleasant and is refunding me for the days I've been unable to use the phone, but was told it could take up to 72 hours before someone contacts me. I brought up how they're going to able to contact me, if neither my ported nor original sim number are working. Didn't even bother to take an alternative number.
flabble to ApolloX1
27 Nov 15#550
Exact same issue. Had my number ported from GiffGaff. This took 2 working days and my phone now has my old number and I can call people... but I can't receive calls (says "Number is not recognised"), receive texts, send texts or use my data. Called Vodafone and they told me they are escalating it to their "specialist team" however apparently they do not work on weekends so it will be Monday at the very earliest.
Poor.
EDIT:
I've managed to fix the problem, and didn't require Vodafone to do it. If you are in this state and you can call people using the number you ported, but can't receive calls try the following: 1) Go into "Settings" and then to "Phone". 2) Change "My Number" to your ported number. 3) Save it, then go back to "Settings" and into "Messages". 4) Turn off "iMessage", then turn it back on. 5) It'll say that it's waiting for activation. At this point restart the phone and you should be sorted.

Yes I've had a nightmare too never have I ever been declined credit check until now - I phoned mobiles.co.uk who told me to phone Vodafone and after 35 mins later Vodafone said nothing they could do despite the fact that I am already an existing customer with 2 contracts with them. They were very very unhelpful and not interested. I have sent for my credit info from Experian and will go back to Vodafone once it comes back even though I know they will be not interested.

Hi
I phoned Vodafone freephone 0808 0408408. Asked them for my customer reference - identified by surname and post code. Ask them why the order was rejected. In my case, the bank details were 'missing' on my application. They added the details and ran the check again and all was well. This will generate a new credit check authorisation number.
Ring Mobiles.co.uk on 01509 615474 options for customer services. Explain what vodafone have done and when they resend your application all should be well.
It did take a few calls to each company to get to the root of the problem and I did have to push mobiles.co.uk to resubmit my application. My order was then confirmed verbally and the phone arrived this morning.
Hope you're successful

Called Mobiles, was told 11 mins wait, it was 12, but when I got through the guy took my order ref and knew exactly what to do. My experience with Vodafone and Mobiles.co.uk if it helps anyone.
Friday 20/11/15 - Placed order for the phone with an escpected delivery of Monday 23/11/15
Monday 23/11/15 - Received an email from Mobiles.co.uk stating that I had failed the credit check.
I phone Vodafone and after much pain got through to someone who could help. He confirmed the credit check was performed without my bank deatils which would obviuosly fail. I gave him permission to run the check again with my bank details and he gave me a ten digit credit cheque number which I should phone back to mobiles.co.uk with. I was eligible for 2 handsets at a maximum monthly cost of £140 per month. I only want one
handset at £26 month so it should be no problem for what I want.
Tuesday 24/11/15 - I phoned back mobiles.co.uk with the ten digit number but they had not received authorisation from Vodafone yet. I had a missed call from mobiles.co.uk at 6.30pm
but when I phoned back at 7pm the ofice was shut.
Wednesday 25/11/15 - I phoned at 9am and was informed the credit check was now fine and the phone will
arrive tomorrow (26/11/15)
I believe they have performed numerous credit checks on people without inserting their bank details so they are obviously going to fail. Like other posts have mentioned I would persevere with Vodafone direct and phone back mobiles.co.uk armed with the 10 digit credit number.

Update from me: After about a week being messed around with vodafone i phoned Experian who told me there was was nothing they could see as to why i would be declined and was told it didn't look like they even done a check because there was no impressions on my account even though Vodafone had my bank details (probably from when i phoned them multiples times)
Decided to call Vodafone and tell them this and kept being transferred (without being told) until someone said they have overturned the decision and gave me a 9 digit reference number. Probably telling lies, when i asked for a credit reference number she didn't know what i was talking about and put me on hold, two minutes later she gave me a 9 digit code, people have been saying they got a 10 digit code and some are saying 9 digit so we will see soon. Seems a bit easy.
I went back to mobiles.co.uk and was told to give them my phone number and that they would call me back within 72hours if it has been over turned.
The discount code doesn't even work on the space grey that i ordered last week so if they have to put a new order through that's probably another set of problems. Won't hold my breath

Oh my what a massive palava we have had trying to get two of these, ordered one in my name no probs came today. Hubby's got declined, so I tried to order another in my name - got declined. Called vodaphone who said only allowed 1 contract until have had three clear bills so that is why u was declined 2nd time. So husband rang vodaphone who said its because he is already a customer with them so he can have an additional line but not a new contract as won't let him, that mobiles need to sort it out as they have tried to open a new one for him. So then call mobiles who say it is vodaphone who need to provide a credit check ref, omg so back to vodaphone who will not provide a number and say mobiles need to call vodaphone deals and add the contract into his existing account. After further final call to mobiles almost 2hrs later, they said they will try and sort it and be back in touch 24-48hrs. Fingers crossed but not holding our breath!!

No I ordered last Thursday and like many others i had a credit check declined. It's still under my original order number so they didn't create a new order. It doesn't hurt to phone up and ask though.

Ahh, I went for the 128gb option in space grey - £34 a month. I now just saw this.... mmmm. Is it worth the extra £8 a month for double storage and in grey? I am undecided if I should cancel it. My credit check was approved and my handset was dispatched within HOURS.

This £26 deal only works on gold now as far as I'm aware so If the colour is not an issue I would downgrade, you could always stick a skin (dbrand have 30% off) or case on it. Do you see yourself using all that space?

27 Nov 151#552
Hi Boggit, after a quick look on my iPhone 6 it appears that iOS doesn't have a data limiter unfortunately. When I put that info into the original post I assumed iOS would have one - because on Android you can indeed limit data.
The best thing you can do is go to Settings then Mobile Data and scroll down to Mobile Data Usage. This will show you how much you've used. At the end of your billing cycle (i.e. the day when your allowances renew each month), scroll right down to the bottom and press Reset Statistics.
When you get the texts from Vodafone alerting you that you're about to hit your limit turn your mobile data off straight away by going to Settings then Mobile Data and flick the switch to off.

Just received my phone today - Can anyone advise on the best route to go with my query?
I have a Three unltd data SIM I'm going to be using as my main, and wanted to use it in this, but I'm not sure if Vodafone will unlock it if I haven't been using the Vodafone sim in it and it will be locked to Three if it's the first SIM that gets put into it. Should I just keep it as Vodafone for a few months and then request an unlock later on or?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
chris_61 to blimpo
27 Nov 15#555
Good to see you got yours. I asked Vodafone how long it will take to unlock and they said you can request an unlock after 30 days. I wonder how it would go if you put it on a three payasyougo sim and asked three to unlock it?

Indeed, I did the same this morning with a deal I'd tried to get on Thursday and been refused and mobiles.co.uk called vodafone and got it sorted. This was for the 64gb iphone 6s and I've had an e:mail saying it's now been despatched... it's worth a go, if you were turned down due to failed credit check as they seem to still be holding those orders.

Actually, mobiles.co.uk gave me a ring last night as I sent them a message about downgrading. He assured me the code worked for the space grey as well? I can't seem to get it to work for either, though. I think I will enjoy the extra capacity, as I won't have to worry about it filling up. 4K video as well... i'm just starting to think that extra £8 a month coming out will start to bother me :///

I have had enough of this Company cost me loads try to sort out there balls up, Bank details where wrong Spoke to Vodaphone and confirm this and got them to change them and passed credit checks and was giving a account number by Vodaphone to givve to them, but mobiles .co..ks keep placing a new order and now keeps failing as there have tried to place the order 5 times and now I am getting a credit fail. I have try to sort this out with Mobile but am getting no where with them. So just a warning to anyone that is thinking of joining them, that if anything goes wrong then you will be in a world of pain.

Great deal, but please be aware that Vodafone is the only major network who doesn't automatically cap your data. If you go over your 2GB limit you'll be charged £6.50 for every 250MB extra you use. Ensure that you set a data limit in the phone's settings menu to prevent such charges.

Nice find
Make sure you set a data limit in the phones settings menu so you won't get hit by these extortionate charges. Vodafone is still the only major network that doesn't automatically cut off your data when you reach your limit. Other networks stop your data and present you with a holding page asking you to buy more before you can go back online.
From 1st September (7 weeks), I've used 654MB on iPhone 6. I have a 3gb allowance.
Although I don't stream music / video, update apps, or backup pictures over data.
EDIT: Sorry this WONT APPLY, as preecey kindly pointed out a few posts down, NHS discount is only offered on contracts bought directly from Vodafone. Apologies for any confusion.
I presume that's solid Gold for £724?

Pity. As that the one my daughter would like and only a £1 more then I'm paying for her ee contract :disappointed:
Im on ee sim only £12.99 a month unlimited calls/texts 5gb data and only want the phone
I hope that makes sense..
If you trade in extra £50
The BETTER64 code only works on the Gold phone. This code applies £150 discount.
Just done it! Thanks OP

Still don't appear to have 4G calling, but I did receive an email that it was coming. Thats something I miss as the phone switches to GPRS after making a call sometimes.
Somehow HUKD strikes again and I get myself a new iphone with a 2 year contract with Vodafone.
Love it/Hate it.
I don't understand why people would rather spend loads more on something spread over months then pay less all at once and not have to worry about it. If you cant afford it why not just save up, surely it isnt that hard and youll save yourself a ton of money.
O2 deal was hot for exactly same reason.
iPhone 6S 64GB Gold | Vodafone 4G | £125 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 6GB data | £31pm
Use code BLACKFRI64
It was £225 upfront but this brings it down to £125
And is my contract then with Vodafone or mobiles.co.uk?

total cost of the deal over 24 months
this is the 64gb iPhone
best deal yet for an iPhone
Cons:
its on Vodafone, too many bad reviews
not enough data, only 2gb, and if you go over you get charged SO MUCH extra
deal is only for gold iPhone, not my cup of tea
very hard to unlock iPhone with Vodafone
All these are personal, still a very hot deal, but personally I think I'll wait for the next one, still voted hot, best deal out there for an iPhone 64gb
Bargain if you don't use lots data.
Think I used 16 gb lol
What does this actually do?
I've got the 6S 64GB, my girlfriend has the SU6. I assume you've also got both within your possession to test to make such an informed decision?
Please read the reviews for Vodafone here...
https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.vodafone.co.uk
You would be crazy to go for this and 2GB of data is poor, especially with the massive charges for going slightly over.
Sorry but definitely cold from me. It's not just about the price or the phone...they could be giving the phone away, but I personally still would not enter a contract with Vodafone.
Whereas on the SU6... http://vid45.photobucket.com/albums/f90/Bossworld/HPStream/5A07FA40-B6DA-434C-BDC5-BF0E0790C4DA_zps5qoztrzx.mp4
Her iTunes content is synced with the SU6 via DoubleTwist, only cost about £8. As per my previous post, it's a lovely big screen, but it's not in the same league as a premium handset, be it Android or iOS.
Again, do you have an iPhone 6S within your possession?
My 12 month was coming to a end and i got a phonecall from ee retentions offering me that deal to sign back up
You could (not saying that you should) go down the Three SIM route but it won't actually unlock the phone straight away and you'll have to follow the instruction in this post to get them to unlock it:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/iphone-6s-64gb-o2-4g-100-off-using-code-blacknov15-unlimited-calls-texts-3gb-data-2319260?p=26496147
Anyway, this is a thread about iPhones and as you keep skirting the question, I suspect you've not got an iPhone 6S to base a comparison on. The beauty of free choice is that some people will want different things to other people, be it a sports car, mobile phone or suit.
Heat but I don't think I could trust myself.

What are the chances of getting discounted Iphone 6 or 6s during Black Friday? Buying outright and use the Three unlimited sims.
I currently have this deal: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/o2-simo-deal-1000-mins-1gb-4g-data-unlimited-texts-12m-5-49-month-via-redemption-2162492?p=25736763 which is due to expire in march and i never used more than the 1GB.
You can call up your provider and ask how much data you're using on average if you're unsure it'll be enough!
I am holding out for an EE deal as reception on any other network is shocking where I live.
I got this for the wife's gold i6S:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B010MVJK9I
Their customer service could be better at times but I'm sure you could find customers on any network that have had a bad experience.
Comments that Vodafone are the worst network/ company should be ignored.

Apologies, it does work. My mistake
I placed an order last night and as yet, no confirmation.
Besides a confirmation, has anybody actually received confirmation it will be delivered tomorrow?
Despite being a homeowner with a pretty perfect credit score, I've been (apparently) declined on account of my credit history. Ridiculous.
Try adding the gold, using the code. Then add the space grey, delete the gold and use the code again.
It might work as thats what I did.
They are unlikely to match it, these third party deals are never usually matched by going direct to the network. Best call them to cancel and go through this deal.
If they say no then tell them you will order this and just cancel the upgrade with Vodafone - you will have 14 days from delivery.
Voda's signal strength and customer service is absolutely horrendous. I upgraded to a 64gb 6 with 4gb data, £36 a month with no upfront cost. Absolutely blew the competition out of the water at the time, I regret it so much now.. Voda is trash

Free earphones will be worth what you paid for them.
This link from the same provider offers the same device, however with Space Grey colour and 6G data per month for £31 per month and the same £100 up front cost if you use the code BLACKFRI6S
So for £5 extra per month you can get the Space Grey colour and also have 3x the data
Space Grey 6G link
Ive also created another deal page here which covers it
Update: This actually covers all colour choices, not just space grey
Psychology plays a lot here.
PhoneCare Insurance - first month FREE, then you pay £7.99/month. You have to cancel these yourself with each individual company afterwards if you dont want them and it costs to ring those companies.
I've looked on this site and cannot see this anywhere does anyone else know if it states this anywhere on the site or are Vodafone trying to scare people away - I bought this deal like many others ?
hence my last post
i wonder if there is a way around this using your PAC CODE?
I'm thinking moving it to Pay as you go to a totally different network? then move it back?
I would assume Vodafone would do the same.
Surely black friday will have a good deal for the 6s!?
does anyone know how I could get to keep my same number
if I took another new deal out with the same phone company I am with?
Don't think it's coming for tomorrow as was originally estimated during checkout process! Anyone had any dispatch emails yet? I ordered at 11:30am today

I think it was because i put the wrong date when i joined with the Bank, if i re-apply will this do antyhing to my credit score, I'm not really up on how everything works.
Done
I've just ordered the rose gold one and it's worked perfectly! £26 a month and £100 upfront for a 64gb latest iPhone is a bargain!
Before even opening the parcel, check Vodafone's unlock policy and open only if you are happy with it, otherwise return it unopened.

I've just received this 30 minutes ago:
"We are pleased to confirm that your order has been successfully processed and will be dispatched shortly from our logistics centre."
Hopefully will receive Monday vai DPD.
FYI if you wish to return a phone then they specify it must be via Royal Mail Special Delivery and cost £8.25 with £1000 compo, or a bit more if over 500 weight.
It is often worth checking which credit rating agency is used so if you have had a decline on agency X used by Vodafone, then might be better of aiming for a network that does not use credit rating agency X at least in the short term.
and yes, probably later on you can fully unlock it as well.
could you sign up for this deal, get the handset and put in an O2 sim (supposedly locks to 1st sim used) and use it; then get the Voda sim that is part of this deal and port another number to it and then use that sim in an old iphone 5 (unlocked)
ie I have a 12 month sim only contract still running, so would use it in the 6 and stick the voda sim (port her number) and use it in daughter's 5

i will wait for EE if they do the same offer didn't really want to go with Vodafone just didn't want to miss the bargin mybe blessing
And the cheapest I can find that is £10 a month (iD mobile) soy ou are paying (£16x24) +£100 =£484 for the phone. Which is £135 cheaper than apple.
Which number did you ring to speak to Vodafone?
I have great credit rating, and I have another Vodafone contract for past 3 years.
I can't understand why I got declined. Please tell me which number did you call and then who did you give the credit reference number to on what number?
Thanks
Did you have to give vodafone your bank details, ask them to re-run the check and give you a credit reference number if it passed?
It might work better if you order via mobiles on the phone and they can input it directly into the system? I don't want to try it again as it's already failed twice.
Thanks
Sorry to hear your having same nightmare I had!
Vodafone updated my application with bank details, then ran credit check themselves. Gave me the 9 digit credit check ref they had . Vodafone couldnt match the deal, so then I went back to Mobiles.co.uk and said to re-instate my original order and where it asks for the 'agreement number' put in the credit check ref.
Hope you get it sorted.
Thanks for your help
I think it worked as they re-instated my original order that they initially failed a credit check on and the guy on the phone said space grey was in stock. I wrongly assumed the code would still work for new orders, sorry if this misled you.
It takes Vodafone up to 48 hours to processs.
It is also possible if you are already on Vodafone but you have to do a porting triangle.
FYI the voucher seemed to work fine for gold and rose gold.

whats next step? cancel 3 contract and request PAC code..or wait for phone to arrive first?
Seriously though, good luck with cancelling with three. Took me 45 minutes of rejecting their offers of new phone contracts and ipads. Then eventually put me through to the manager who was even worse than the salesman. Never again

"What as absolute joke this is" I have had plenty of credit agreements in the past settled and on going mortgages and car finance and never missed a payment or been late.
Is it Vodafone or Mobills.co.uk who reject or accept?
So after reading a number of posts on here I knew what to do:
Called Vodafone 03333 040 191 (standard call charges apply) and explained to Customer Services person the problem who passed me to Sales
Sales Person then checked and provided me with Credit Reference Check approval number
I called Mobiles.co.uk Sales 0871 220 3580 (Calls cost 13p per minute plus your telephone provider's access charge!) and explained why I thought I had been refused and he took the Vodafone Credit Reference Check approval number and put it through.
Thanks all those who suffered previously and posted the solution
Not sure whether to just order again?
I used to work Credit for Three, it's amazing what 3rd party retailers think they can get away with!
Poor.
Do I wait or contact someone?!
and the way in post #479
Tried what was suggested earlier in the thread by filtering out the network, handset cost and data allowance but no joy. It still works for Gold though but just not keen on this colour.
"There have already been some incredible early Black Friday deals, particularly in the UK where the most popular of which has been a £100 discount on the iPhone 6S 64GB - the latest news on that one is that Mobiles.co.uk ran out of stock and so had to expire the deal."

Can I do it right away?
Hope you can assist.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you again for your co-operation and patience.
I actually got this deal with no hassle when it first launched and after hearing the horror stories with mazuma would rather keep my old 4s then risk there nonsense for £50

THANKS GUYS! ORDERED
EDIT: Confirmation email received.
Can anyone tell me where to go to restrict the data, as you have guessed I'm not that techy...thanks in advance.
No code works on any colour for me.
Wanted to order the gold (preferably) 6S for my son but can't get the codes to work at all now or am i doing something wrong?
Help! (Please)
Black Friday will have introduced new deals on the handset
Those of you who got the earlier deals are lucky blighters!
Me? Too slow.
He who hesitates is lost.
I just ordered online and got the 64gb iPhone 6s. Already received an email from quidco saying my £20 cashback has tracked!
Was only expecting £10.
Thanks.
