The Pavilion x360 is a 2 in 1 - a versatile device that combines the functionality of a Full HD laptop with the portability and touch-control of a tablet.
Simply rotate the screen around the base to move between modes:
- Laptop mode lets your work on a full-size keyboard and trackpad, so you can write essays, emails and other long documents comfortable and accurately wherever you are
- Tablet mode turns off the keyboard and hides it behind the screen, letting you navigate your files and internet using the touchscreen, just like any other tablet
- Stand mode is ideal for browsing the web with the x360 in your lap or on your knees. It allows you to easily angle the screen to suit you and puts the touchscreen within easy reach
- Tent mode gives you the ability to watch films and media completely hands free. Simply stand the device on a desk for completely unsupported viewing - perfect for killing time on the train or in between lectures

I'd advise against getting anything from Currys. Currently having a horrible time trying to get a refund for a faulty satnav. Their customer service department seem actively intent on being anything but what they're called.

I'm getting my parents a new laptop for Christmas, but I'm thinking of getting one of these touch screen/laptop combo instead. They'll just use it for Web browsing, Microsoft Office and watching videos on Youtube, etc.... No gaming whatsoever.
This any good ? Or will there be better deals on Black Friday for laptops ?

This will run everything you mentioned with relative ease. I would suggest reading reviews on the curry's website as there are some design issues commented on by purchasers.

I doubt this will go any lower. If I'm not mistaken this used to be around £449.99 when it was introduced. So at this price it's pretty awesome. The only thing you may want to consider is upgrading the ram which is pretty cheap. This will help with all the multitasking that your parents may do. I am only suggesting that as Windows 10 on that machine will take approx 1.5gb to 2gb just to sustain Windows and all its background processes. You should also consider removing some of the Hp software is its not really needed. But yeah it would be a great buy.

Have you even read the returns/exchange policy they have. I understand that they are not the greatest company to buy from but come on every company has their own policy. If you fall within their 21 days returns / exchange period then sure you have a solid case to get the item sorted. But if not then don't bash the people that work for the company. At the end of the day they are the same as you and I.

Yea they probably will give it for free. Be realistic guys, all new good tech there is limit to be discounted, unless they try to get rid of some old few generation old tech that nobody wants
