This laptop works on Windows 10. As I've tested it.

Probably just as fast as modern U series CPUs, except for power consumption.
It definitely says it in the title of the eBay listing, so if they need to honour it, ask the seller a question about the warranty.

You're right as there doesn't really need to be, it's more power consumption tweaks than anything. Most users are general business users, and it does everything they need. The fingerprint sensor might not work in Windows 10, I haven't spent much time trying to get it to work though.

2560p's are great little laptops...Lovely build quality
I have the i7 version of this, it's a steal at £123!

I'm actually considering going for the next model up (2570p), as it will provide the added support for the 3rd Gen i7 Core CPUs - it will cost more but will run better with the native support support but also will come with USB 3.
I was looking at these but at the time, there was no way to connect to a TV with working sound so I picked up a Dell E6420, very happy with it and a similar price. I'm looking for another laptop so I guess it's a straight choice between the two unless anyone has any other suggestions? I need a dvd drive (so I can put in a storage drive and a ssd) and the ability to hook up to a TV. Not much to ask..

I guess you tried Displayport to HDMI? Also if your TV had VGA you could use two cables VGA and 3.5mm to 3.55mm audio or 3.5mm to left/right phono

It's never been possible to get audio throb9 any combo of cables, I just wondered if anyone find a way on Windows 10 yet

Hmm you must be doing something really wrong then, if you get a headphone output then you get audio, you need the right input on the TV either 3.5mm or phono. Usually people will just use HDMI now as there's no VGA on most if not all modern TVs. So it's entirely possible that the Displayport to HDMI audio didn't work, but that would be a driver issue which could be fixed I would think.

I have an 8440p with a DisplayPort to HDMI cable - runs full surround sound

I said I was looking into buying one, not that I had. No one had got the audio working when i was looking into it about 2.5 months ago

Are you specifically talking about windows 10? I thought you meant generally (ie windows 7) - but when I was troubleshooting I couldn’t find any actual references to that particular setup - just a whole bunch of generic troubleshooting pages. Do you have any links to any forums/articles so I can keep an eye out for a resolution on windows 10? I ended up rolling back to 7 for my htpc
