Can u still play original counterstrike? The best fps of its generation!

This doesn't include counterstrike source or global offensive. Which is a big reason not to bother.

LOL NO!

That's pushing it slightly. Certainly one of the laziest developers out there since they can just sit back and sell other people's games now. Oh and Troika (R.I.P.) made much better use out of the Half Life 2 engine than Valve ever did - which is a bit embarrassing considering Valve were the ones who made it in the first place, and Troika's game was in development around the same time.

What has lazy developers got to do with how good the game were? Facts are Half-life was light years ahead of other FPS when launched and set the bar for every other FPS since.
It was quite simply the Doom for the 3DFX generation.

I could never afford a 3DFX card. I played it in OpenGL mode on my ATI Rage 128.

Lost Coast was pretty much just a tech demo though, rather than much of an actual game. And it was initially free. But thanks to the generosity of Valve you now have to pay for it.

I only need HL2 + Ep1 + Ep2. Are any of the multiplayer games in this pack still played and worth buying? I bought all the DLC for Max Payne 3 a few weeks ago only to find out no one plays them any more :smirk:
