Great price if you can afford as this is about a cheap a flight as you'll find to New York at this time of year, and would be good for a chance to get some Christmas Shopping in. Flight is direct and with Jet2. (Lands at 8.30am on the 17/11/2015)

The price is still available so not sure why you can only see it at that price?

I took Jet2 to Israel once, their seats were so uncomfortable that flight was 5 hours of nightmare. Wouldn't recommend it for a transatlantic flight.

Never again will I step foot on a Jet2 aircraft again..... I'd rather not fly ever again. It would be torture to sit on one of their old 757s for 6-7 hours crossing the pond. Try Norwegian from Gatwick.

Money talks and if the price suits you then I'm sure many would travel with them.

and sit in the clapped out old car for 4 hours too, down the roadworks of the m1 to a ridiculously busy airport before getting on a slightly nicer plane (when I'd already be nearly there from LBA)..
nice to see a deal for up here rather having to go to our extremely beautiful and welcoming centre of everything Capitol (hunger games spelling intended!) in the south..
If I wasn't a teacher, I'd be on that flight!

Slightly better plane lol Each to their own..... I'm a northerner and would stil choose to fly from London, Gatwick is not as busy as Heathrow. Flights from Manchester as well with other airlines all most as cheap. Jet2 are awful from first hand experience! It will be 6-7 hrs of cramped seating with no service on an old tired plane that are prone to technical faults.

Also, take the train to Gatwick, you'll be there in approx 2 hrs from Leeds
