Already have a glue gun and many times I would have preferred not to run an extension cable.
Seems a good price compared to Amazon and cheapies on eBay.

Assuming this is an update of the one they've always done, they are very good. Don't confuse them with the rubbish low power hobby ones most places sell, this is much more powerful and physically twice the size. The advantage of the high power is it gets the glue much hotter and allows repositioning and the glue will also flow into gaps...very good for burning fingers too! This is a useful DIY tool rather than just meant for sticking glittery crap to cards and the like.

Yes, this one is great.
Bought one a few years ago and have made Easter bonnets for the kids (take a straw boater and stick anything remotely Easterish or Jesus looking on it).
Bought a big box of glue sticks with it but sat in the garage unopened, need to Google 101 uses for a glue gun apart from S&M uses, hot candle wax is way too messy when you can whip this bad boy out from under the bed

If you have Amazon Prime I think you'd be better of with the Stanley Dual-temperature glue gun for just £7.22 - excellent gun and very handy with dual temps.
However, as this is a cordless gun I'll get one of these too as corded can be a pain sometimes - especially when trying to stand them up when not using them.
The gluesticks also available from Lidl on 5 November are not a bad price for 18 x 11 inch sticks (which will also fit the Stanley). You can get cheaper but usually only if you buy a bulk pack where the price per stick is lower, but maybe not everyone needs 100 sticks!
Thanks for posting as I like the idea of cordless!
