As a note for zip locks.... It's more of a deterrent than a means of stopping someone getting into your zip locked bag. Zippers can easily be breached with a BIC ballpoint pen to gain access regardless of the strength of padlock (google/youtube it!). The padlocked zip can then be used to reseal the zip so that it looks like no one has been in. I found this out on a recent holiday where people resort to using shrink wrap around their suitcase.
