I agree with your point about not needing 'extras' on these toothbrushes, but the 650 is actually different as even though it has the 3D cleaning mode, it apparently pulsates at 20,000 and not the 40,000 of the models from Pro 2000 up.

So, for me the Pro 2000 at the same price below is be a better deal based purely upon cleaning efficacy as opposed to unnecessary 'bells and whistles"
