Amazing film, assume should be okay with purchase of 5p bag (not tried but don't see why not).
Set in the picture-postcard small town of Lumberton, Kyle Maclachlan plays the clean cut Jeffrey Beaumont, who, whilst returning from a visit to his hospitalised father, makes the shocking discovery of a severed human ear. After reporting his discovery to a local police detective, Jeffrey decides to pursue his own line of enquiry, aided by the detective's daughter, Sandy (Laura Dern). This sets Jeffrey on a voyage of discovery that takes him to the very heart of Lumberton's seedy and sinister underworld where he encounters a collection of misfits whose various chronic compulsions threaten to engulf him in their twisted and nightmarish world.

Great price, brilliant film. Looks decent on Blu-ray...watched it a few months ago in full and loved it from start to finish.
It's only £4-ish elsewhere online if you can't get to a Fopp store by the way. Even less if you bought it using discount codes etc (e.g. Rakuten).
A great cast, a great writer/director, and a great soundtrack. Dennis Hopper is utterly terrifying. I've not thought about watching it for a while but I'm definitely going to dig my copy out and watch this over the weekend sometime.

Nice idea OP, has anyone tried buying a 5p bag with any of these when bought with prices?

No, but once gave 1p to charity (in hmv at least). In any case off the record it should scan as a fiver regardless of another purchase

Shame it's not the lost footage version. That is the one to get if you are a Lynch fan.

Heineken!!!! F**k that s**t!!!! Pabst Blue Ribbon!
I suspect that this is the 2nd UK release of Blue Velvet which may be inferior to the first one (which wasn't perfect as it was missing all the 1+ hour deleted scenes which any fan would want). Having said that...for £3 - bargain!

The release with "missing" scenes is in Fopp at £6. I guess this is reason they are clearing the £3 edition.
