Being able to buy and update to the latest WoW for this price is a bargain! In addition the SC2 games are also on sale.

As someone who recently wasted gold on a sub let me warn you - the game/people/gameplay is still the same as when you quit in Classic/TBC/WOTLK/MoP/WoD. Sure you remember the fun you had but whatever reason made you quit is still valid and blizzard still couldn't balance two equal weights.
On the other hand - you have lots of worthless gold so no harm trying the game again.

I stopped playing it at Molten Core. Then I rejoined when the expansion came out and just to get my Legendary Dragonwrath for my Undead Mage then I stopped playing for good. People have changed since Molten Core! They all take it so seriously now.. everything is about dps and all that crap! No more just exploring and all that fun stuff!
I have to say - WoW is the best mmo game ever and I do miss it... but never again!

That is cheap, but I wouldn't play WoD if they paid me. The questing to 100 is good but after that it's very disappointing. There's a reason 5 million people quit after it came out.

WoW is currently at the lowest subs it has ever been at, and openly said they are going to stop publishing sub numbers.

Join Nostalrius, its a free private server running patch 1.12.1 aka Vanilla WoW, it's free and always crazy popular. The retail nowadays is an absolute joke!

Funny to think people who play wow, this dinosaur, paid upwards of £1000-1300 for subscription and £200 more for the patches.

So how does the free servers work? do I need an up to date wow client? ie the latest expansion pack they have?
free servers might tempt me to install it and play occasionally.
