they really are fantastic headphones. So much better than other similar prices headphones I've tried and love that you can swap out the cable if it breaks

Yep, just buy 2 pairs as the cable will break very soon :confused: The only downside of these headphones really. Got my first pair and still going strong (with replaced Chinese cable) but tempted to get new ones just as the old are a tiny bit tatty. Hmmmmm being picky.

I live in London, and I will say I'm not willing to travel 1&1/2 hours+ to Swiss Cottage or wherever, since I see 2 & 1/2 months later, the only 451s they have left are ex-display (but did they ever have a lot of new ones at this price? Unlikely, knowing them), and they only have two pairs currently @ Swiss Cottage, BUT not only are they open box ex-display, they're also without cable, and they have the cheek to ask £29.95 for them! Spoke to the branch manager, tried to get her to do them for a fair price, which would be £20 IMHO, but she 's willing to give only 10% off, no chance, so I flubited these, and got £34.12 for brand new, with cable, POSTED. So again, EVEN if these were £30 NEW from RS in store, I'd still spend the £4 extra to have them posted, as it'll cost me around £3 in bus fares anyway, and I will have wasted 3-4 hours gawping at expensive tellies and sh*t I can't afford. I call that a result, so I suggest you do the same if you still need/want these.
