LA is an absolute dump but use this opportunity to do a road trip to other places like San Francisco via PCH, Death Valley, Grand Canyon etc etc. the daytime temperature will still be pleasant

why is it only a week ? the dates show outward and return but surely you can mix and match the dates to be shorter or longer ?
