Electronically it will work just dandy, but a quick look for Via VL805 OS X compatability brings back no useful information. Unless you can find more than I did on my quick search I think you'll save yourself a headache by going for something out of the box compatible even though they're more expensive
I've never had much luck with Via USB chipsets, maybe these are ok but of all the problems I've had in the past, it was usually a crappy Via chip that was responsible for it. Anyway, I accidentally hit hot :smile:

Ugh thought Via crap had died off, has anyone actually got one and had it work, tested speeds etc??
I know it was ages ago but too many bad memories trying to get Via chipsets to work properly.

Cold added due to the actual shop, trustpilot had to remove over several hundreds of reviews from the domain. People posting on gearbest facebook not to order from this company. to quote someones post "Tom Watts Be really careful buying from this site, don't believe the reviews or the questions, they write their own and NEVER put up bad reviews.
If you have a problem they will stop replying to your emails and essentially leave you with a faulty product"
