Probably because its not the usual straightforward Amazon style purchase and you kind of need to jump through a hoop or two to make benefit of this deal.
Just make sure you use your points before they expire.
It will tell you the expiry date in your account.
For reference I bought a 3DS early this month and the points expire at the end of the month.

So that brings it to 270 and we would get 67.50 worth of points? Plus the quidco and that is insane. I ordered last night from the wife's credit card while she was at a cocktail making class with work but Tesco contacted her as they thought it was fraud and as she didn't know she told them it was. Then she wasn't happy I bought it without asking her so remains ordered. Do I buy it again and have an angry wife or wait, calm her down, and hope it still exists? Surely black Friday can't top this by much if at all?

However, end of October/during November is when you get the insane deals coming. Saying that though, I think you would be hard pressed to find a deal as good as this, especially with the voucher/points/quidco

ok, i've taken the plunge. I simply don't have the nerve to wait around for better deals nearer christmas and i think getting the console plus 2 games for £276 incl del is pretty good (especially if they come through with the points which will buy an extra controller and PS+ for my other kid). Code worked for me earlier so had to bite. The one I did yesterday tracked with quidco too. I don't have the nerve to hold out either. Should be sub 200 with everything considered. Can't find anything close to that. Is it the old controller that comes with this? Any recommendations on a cheap headset as this doesn't have one?

Was close to ordering this afternoon, it's a very good deal but there's too many hoops to jump through, selling stuff on ebay or other classifieds. I'd be on the computer, taking photos, using the points to get sent more crap to sell. Paypal needlessly earning off the sales just so I can save a few quid in the long run and could probably earn more without all the lost time. All those paypal fees and pointless orders of games I don't want, postman delivering the games twice could all be avoided if they just do the base console and pick your free game.
Back in late 2007, Sony did some nice pick your games deals on PS3.
I'm going to wait, I can see the £200 no hoop deals coming..

Indeed, I've only been awarded 6,000 too. I've emailed customer services to find out where the other 750 points have gone (I'm assuming they calculate the points after the 10% voucher)

I've not heard back from customer services but maybe 6,000 have been awarded today, which works out at x20. Maybe those 'bonus' points have been awarded today, as that was the terms and conditions for the x25 points weekend, and then maybe the other x5 points (the usual amount) are going to be awarded on dispatch of the console (which I hope it soon!!!)

I have spent those now with given they had to be used by today but raised an issue with them on the day it should have been delivered and I just checked and I have been credited with 1650. Seems they paid out on the full amount before the discount.

I also only got 6000 points and am waiting for the additional. Despite chasing this up twice via email and one phone call I'm still no nearer to getting my missing points. I also ordered two more bundles which have arrived today but I have yet to receive a single point for this order - I'm expecting 15000. A rep from their customer service told me it apparently takes 16 days for points to come through.... it all sounds a bit dodgy to me. I think Rakuten are stalling for time. Will probably be the last time I order anything from this site.

Whilst it is a bit frustrating not receiving all of the points yet, I'm pretty sure receiving the points within 16 days is pretty standard. It's just that in our case when the x25 points deal was on they were for points that had to be spent by 2/11 so we were supposed to receive them more quickly.
