This is the new version of the popular kids smart watch :) I think they've price matched John Lewis but I can't tell if the John Lewis one is the PLUS edition or not.
Mentioned improvements:
- Added calendar and calculator
- more memory

Tablets seem fine for 2 year olds so I'd say yeah.

I just bought the leap band....how does this compare?

The leapband does not have a camera or video functionality. The watches are both quite different because the leapband is more of an activity tracker but the vtech is a smart watch, so will have more features overall but less in terms of the "fitness" side.

Very good price for the Plus version.

Warranty not brilliant with these. Also the plastic covering the USB charging breaks off very easily.

I think it would be fun for a three year old  it depends on how advanced they are to be able to utilise all the features etc. It's recommended for 4-7 year olds. I hope that helps.
