If your car developed a fault within two years, you'd rightly expect the manufacturer to fix it.

Similarly it would be reasonable to expect an sd card to last longer than two years. Fortunately you don't need to even go down quoting the sale of goods act, sandisk offer a 5 year warranty on sd cards so should replace it for you: https://www.sandisk.com/about/legal/warranty/warranty-table.

That said, I'd recommend not buy these flaky cards and wait for a deal on a Samsung equivalent.

Mine stopped working after 2 years or so, can't format, add or delete anything. Can copy data though. For the price I bought it then, kinda disappointed

I bought the same type of card from a supplier on amazon.

On copying data across I found that it was really slow.
Using an android app called SD Insight, I found the card was counterfeit.
A few days after I started using it, it "froze" and I was no longer able to copy or delete data from it.

Even at this price, I wouldnt bother with this card.

Just installed SD Insight reading your comment, has to be the quickest way to see if your MicroSD card is genuine or not.

​Ah, but consider if the fault on the car was something that prevented you access to the contents inside. Inside, you have some private personal documents, some nsfw pics you and the wife made messing around one evening after a few drinks. There is no way to recover or access your goods inside without it been sent off to the supplier/manufacturer. They will attempt to repair or will replace the car with a new one once they've had a go at it.

And this my friends, is why I never send back faulty cards or drives. :stuck_out_tongue:

Bought this card yesterday from Amazon using prime now, already experiencing all sorts of issues, didn't expect it being a fan boy of SanDisk and normally never having issues. I mean the card keeps unmounting all the time and I can't copy things over to sd card. Truly shocked
