This post is a little misleading.
First off there is an initial payment of £25 for the phone and £5 for the minimum goody bag.
Then;
"£436.12 total payable
9.70% APR rate for 24 months
£17.13 for 24 monthly payments"
So the £399.99 is if you pay it all off in one go.
If you are spreading the cost its more.
Over 24 months if you want mins and internet etc, its about the same as CPW minus the cancelation castle at the end.

Jeez do people on here still not know about giffgaff?
O2 sister network (as in, owned by O2 they don't merely use the network). You can change airtime and tariff month to month, all customer service is done online (hence cheap prices) and you aren't locked to them. You don't even need to have a goodybag just cancel it. The phone contract itself is run through rate setter and you can pay it off whenever you want, rate setter is a good 11-12% less APR than a phone contract from a network (usually 20%)
Basically, giffgaff are decent is what I'm trying to say. This is a good price
