When I was in Morries to get some Pepsi max - see deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pepsi-max-regular-diet-2l-1-3-bottles-for-2-morrisons-2300712 , I thought it would be nice to spice it up with some vodka.
But as ever, Morries 1l bottles of Russian Standard at £17 were sold out. But on mysupermarket app it said Russian Standard 70cl was £11 in Sainsbury's.
So, I bought 2 bottles in Morrisons, paid for them separately from the pepsi and got 10,000 points worth £10 credited to my Morrisons Match'n'More Card.
So good deal in Sainsbury's or Morrisons if you buy as above. Works out as the cheapest per litre at the moment (£15.71/l)

Make the most of Morrisons "Match & More" while you can!
Quote: We’re making some changes to Match & More
Since launching Morrisons Match & More, we have been listening to what our customers think about the scheme. As a result:
From 2nd November, it will be even simpler to earn points through the following changes:
•Earn 5 Morrisons points for every £1 you spend* - you will no longer have to spend a minimum of £15 in one transaction
•We’re also extending the locations where points can be earned to include Flower Shop, Garden Centres and Pharmacies
•Morrisons Match points on comparable shopping will end
So this is what Morrison's customers "want"
Half the current number of points per transaction!
NO price match on comparable shopping
Either all Morrison's customers that they "listened to" have been selected for their stupidity
Or
Morrisons think that ALL of their customers are stupid
This'll become a Match NO More card

What is this magic of purchasing things that are sold out?

I obviously didn't explain myself clearly. The 1l bottles @ £17 were sold out (cheapest deal for the 1l at the moment), but they had the 70cl bottles which I bought and got the Match'n'nMore points which will give me £10 in vouchers the next time I shop there.
If Morrisons didn't have the Match'n'More deal I would have gone to Sainsbury's!

Jimmybo you're dead right. Morrisons Match'n'More card will not be Matching any More from 2nd November. That's why I used it today. I'll get £10 vouchers back on this spend. But would only get 160 points worth 16p after 2nd November.
