One thing all these types of lights are missing is an on/off switch/button.

would think if you bend it whilst plugged into a usb it will eventually damage the usb

Just be aware this is not an endorsement, I have ordered but it'll be weeks before I receive anything so can't vouch for the quality. I ordered about £20 of stocking fillers from them, be interesting to see if any were worth it but I thought worth a shot at these prices.

Can't imagine that these are going to be particularly bright. I suspect those photos are misleading.
