Hi Lucy , can you explain your photo? Unless I'm missing something the cashier ran to the shelf with the card machine to verify your post?! Thanks

Yyy I don't really understand your question tbh...
Ticket shows £4.50, but I've scanned it and it showed £1.50 as on photo.

Bought this last night at portsmouth tesco extra,it was priced at £1-50 on the shelf, but they only had one can remaining, not impressed with the stuff,i've been using it tonight filling in cracks in artex.
Resorted to using a tube of polyfilla that i had unopened, much happier with the consistency of the tube compared to the spray can which just went on as water practically.
And yes i did shake it a lot before use,too watery for me.
And to poster pennyfarthing88, the op is using a scan as you shop device which tesco provide in tesco extra stores.

Not been funny but pic does say this stuff is ideal for fine hairline cracks or large areas of surface inperfections. Does it say large deep artex cracks? Maybe Polyfilla should R&D some kind of expandable filler for large deeper cracks.
Not all cracks are created equal. I'm thinking why bother with this stuff if any cheap toothpaste dried out then sanded down would be a cheaper option.

i've been to most tesco extra stores in and around london (on wild goose chases- sometimes lucky sometimes not) and have never seen self -scanners don't think they trust us in this part of the country . they have even taken out the price checkers that were fixed to columns

And if you don't paint it, you could walk past and give it a lick for some instant minty breath freshness :sunglasses:

You're missing the fact that there's no cashier with a card machine - it's simply a Tesco self-scanner.

We got scanners few months ago. Before I had to go to scanner fixed to wall which doesn't work most of time :disappointed:

The self-scanners came with the new store. System works pretty well, and you do at least know what price you're paying. Not many people using them, so very quick check-out. Similar to Waitrose system, but the rescans Tesco call for (a bit of a timewaster) are considerably more frequent than the Waitrose ones. Different type of customer, probably!
