I believe this would actually be 5500 points as it's over £200 and they are doing x25 points for purchases over that amount. So quite a discount really.

I would buy this phone (phone of the year 2014) in a heartbeat if it had a MicroSD slot.

Same here. And people don't say I should have everything streaming/over the cloud as I prefer not relying on the data connection and also draining my battery (although some don't mind I don't want to).
It is a pretty awesome multifunctional device and can be had for about 15£ when there is a deal.

I would argue the extra £78~ might be better spent on the Nexus 5x. If you can afford it obviously, if not this phone served me really well, if it wasn't for the camera and yellowish screen.

16GB of storage without microSD is pretty pathetic. Between apps, photos and music, you'll run out of space pretty quick.

I have this very phone and I have 4GB of space left about 1 year down the line and I don't really see that running out of space happening any time soon.
All you need to do is be a bit sensible with the space, (remember that for a long time there simply was no options over 16GB and noone complained). All my photos/videos go straight to the cloud first time I connect to the wireless (automatically of course) so they don't take up any space. I have a couple of playlists downloaded to the device taking up to 2-3GB and for the rest use the cloud (play music to be specific) and I have 4GB in apps leaving me with 4GB free to use for whatever. I don't watch movies on my phone if I can help it but if I would this 4GB would be handy, or some streaming. All in all I don't regret 16GB at all (it saved me about 80£ at the time) and I have never fealt constrained or that I lack space.
These is just mine experience, everyone to their own of course...

agree with nexusfifth, it depends on how you use your phone and what you use it for. i use my 8gb phone as a phone and occasional camera. ive got a 32gb card and theres nothing on it. as long as i keep the cache cleared ive still got 1.5gb free. if i dowload a new app and its no good i remove it.
i want this phone but cant help feeling that the price may be sub £200 in the near future. currently got the moto e for work & think the stock android if the way forward.
heated anyway

It's a decent phone, but not sure I could spend over £200 on one so long after release.

Turn off the voice command function if you don't use it, saves a lot of battery as its not listening for key word all the time
