Superb vacuum cleaner!!!
I have one and have used it even to clean my loft....it sucks spider/cob webs like nobodies business...bags last for ages and even when they get full the Miele keeps going.

Been waiting for a good price on a decent vacuum cleaner. Always had a Dyson but heard nothing but good things about Miele so think I'm going to go for this.
Any advice on where to buy the bags and filters?

I have a 5+ year old Miele cat and dog - really solid machine which just goes and goes. When I bought it I went on eBay and bought 20 non-genuine bags for (IIRC) about £20 - I'm onto my last two so I'm only using maybe five bags a year (including the few I got with the vacuum when I bought it) and have just ordered another pack of 20 bags for a tenner from eBay. Again not genuine Miele but if they're anything like the ones I bought years ago they will work fine and it is great not having to empty disgusting cyclonic cylinders like Dyson etc.

Do they come with motor filters? They should be replaced every 4 or 5 bags

Yes, albeit you cut them out yourself.
