Had my high-vis jacket, and LED lights on yesterday morning - even in daylight.
Some thoughtless Taxi driver just overtook me and then turned sharp left straight in front of me. Without good brakes I'd now be dead.
Frankly I was disappointed than angry.

You should have realised that taxis and minicabs are exempt from rules of the road - their cabs still dent from a suitably planted foot though!
The debate continues but as a pedestrian, cyclist, motorcyclist and motorist I see some of all groups behaving stupidly on a daily basis. The only sure thing is that the motorist is least likely to be injured.
Reflective or not (and that only works after dark) why not at least minimise the risk by wearing hi-viz; it won't stop stupidity and it won't stop you getting hurt in a collision but it just might make you a tad less likely to be struck.

i would get a camera and start reporting the more dangerous drivers. I know it it doesn't help you avoid being hit but as cyclist we have to make a stand against the idiot drivers who are daily endangering cyclist by reckless driving.
