you have to load up the xbox canada website, then log in (to the xbox canada wesbite) using your regular xbox / MS account credentials - only when you are logged in will it check whether you already own the core/base destiny game - if you do own the core/base game then it will give you the option for the TTK digital upgrade, for me it was 40 CAD plus 5% sales tax, so 42 CAD. 42 canadian dollars at today's rate is £20.97

if you weren't logged in on xbox canada website it wouldn't know whether you had the core/base game or not so will not give you a price for the TTK DLC only - and the only prices you will see will be for the Destiny legendary edition - digital or digital collectors editions at 60 CAD and 80 CAD respectively (from memory)

I've logged in changed region. But cannot see a download button anywhere, I'm trying on my mobile and tried switching to desktop site but still no joy. Is the download button green?

On xbox dot com it mentions you can only change regions every 3 months. Is this true and can you get around this?

can someone explain this for me. I went and changed my region to Japan and signed in when on the Loco page it says set dedicated in the green download box. What am i doing wrong?

This has got me thinking, so have I been missing out? Could I theoretically have been getting other countries games with gold every single month since the Xbone landed? What other regions/countries have people found this worked on? Any that are known to get particularly good games with gold? Wouldn't take a lot to beat ours......

So how I understand it, it's the free games that flagged on the x360, no idea if that will be a prob on the x1. The region switch purchase appears to be a grey area. - well that's how I understand it.

It won't jeopardise anything. I've got games from every region and play them all through the UK region. My EA ACCESS was from the USA yesterday but expired. It's from Hungary now and it all works.

Aha, thanks for the reply. I got this game. I was thinking to buy ea access but now I am worried. if I switched region and got this game and soon after I get ea access, would it trigger their system? Or should I not be so neurotic? I have lots of games on xbox live, i don't want to jeopardise it.

Funds dont expire as far as I know but they ARE region specific.

So I have £X on my account - if I switch to Canadian Store, I have CAD$ 0.00

Thats why people buy the region specific cards.

I'm usually up for this sort of stuff but wasn't THAT the reason people were getting banned on the 360? :disappointed:

I directed people to power star golf last year. It got slated with comments saying you're gonna get banned. Still here :-) bought from multi regions and snapped up gwg when they differ due to licensing. I was informing people Max was free last month in Japan. No one interested and that was a great game. Don't think you'll get much interest for Loco though.
