Kemco are having another sale and have reduced twelve of their JRPGs to just 99p. This will be the first time Alphadia Genesis 2 & Valkyria Soul have been included in a sale.
If you have not played a Kemco RPG before, they are as close to a console quality JRPG you're going to get on a phone. They are reminiscent of the classic RPGs of the SNES, PSX & PS2 eras.
The games themselves include and involving story lines, turn base battle systems "usually with a twist" fun levelling up systems, hundreds of different items, and equipment to use and clearly take a lot of inspiration from Squaresoft.
The graphics range from detailed 2d sprites to 3d depending on the game & and have approximately 20 hours gameplay, at 99p you can't go wrong.

My top five would be as below, but I would play the first Alphadia Genesis before starting the second one though.
However its a matter of taste, so read the synopsis’s for them and see which suits you best.
Asdivine Hearts is very good, hugely popular and arguably one of the best RPGs on android. If you going to get one, I would make it one of these, however I would get them all less than a fiver for well over 100 hours gameplay, you can’t really go wrong.

Which one is the longest? Most of the Kemco ones I've played are great but super short for a JRPG.

ive only completed asdivine hearts and alphadia genesis, both about 20 hours. about 4 hours into Genesis 2

Yeah that's about as long as the ones I've played. I suppose these days it's too much to ask for an old school 60 hr+ truly open world JRPG unless you're going to bother with any of the remakes which have probably been played to death by every JRPG fan.

i know, the issue is there's not the money in mobile games to produce anything any longer. To be fair the old school jrpg are dying gear not even Nintendo or square seems interested anymore. I like to support Kemco and by extension exe create for keeping it alive and doing a good job on the games.

Hopefully somewhere down the line Kemco just put in the effort of making two games into one and voila! You've got a 40hr+ game. Chaos Rings 3 was probably the biggest disappointment this year. Looked like an open world game when in reality it is just a glorified fetch quest game with the same stages over and over again. Then you've got that joke monthly event system which means it would probably take at least 12 months to collect everything. Tut.
