Too easy to get sniffy about Jack because of it's omnipresence but to be honest it is a decent enough drop, perfectly drinkable on its own and mixes well - effectively the Gold Blend, Coldplay or Skoda Octavia of the bourbon world, it does exactly what it sets out to do and is entirely adequate at doing it.
(don't start on the "it's not really bourbon because it's from Tennessee" routine, it's a bourbon)

Cheapest I have ever bought the 1L bottle in the UK is £20, but that was years ago. Heat added.

Nope, few months ago it was at sainsburys, I got 6 bottles then!
I saw (although stocked before flying off from comment above) on the plane it was £20 for the litre, so keep an eye out for that in the future! More likely to get it this price though if flying outside of Europe.

People are very snobby about Jack Daniels these days, I think that's because it's everywhere & easy to buy, & not some obscure brand. I've tried a lot of the others, but I prefer Jack Daniels, it tastes like good scotch with a toffee in it. I bought a couple of bottles last week, I might buy another one, it could be a long winter.

I just brought 2x 1l from the airport within the EU. It works out £16.50 a bottle, but £23 is a good price for the UK. Heat added

The 70cl is always available for £15 in ASDA. This looks like a sham deal imo.
