Only one thing: it’s for iOS 7.0+ only, doesn't support Android devices and it works well with iOS 9, I tried. :)

Yes not only did you spend £27 on something you don't need but on something that is very poor, I love this website as I see ppl buy things based on price and not the quality and purpose of the product.

Does this measure resting calorie burn? Also what is battery life like?

No heart rate monitor so unlikely. It uses arm movement to calculate calories burned, the same as a free smartphone app. Battery life is claimed to be 7 days plus.

I got a clone of one of these badged as some other brand about 6 months ago for £15 on eBay (I got lucky). It is an excellent piece of kit but, as already pointed out, it doesn't do heart rate but is an excellent cheap "toe in the water" with these things. I went on and got an iWatch after and that does everything and a bit more. But being a Scrooge I would never have spent that much without buying something cheaper like this first.
