In Iceland beef means pony. Fact.

Yummy....Pony meat tastes better than horsemeat so I am all in favour of people eating more horse/pony meat as theres a glut of unwanted horses & pony's that need eating by humans rather than being tinned for dog/cat food.

Anybody got a link to the deal?

People will eat what they want to eat at the end of the day it's a deal site not a debate centre surely. Like most shops they have deals on products maybe that they've had for a while in their stock and to entice people in with the hopes you buy more shopping whilst you're there :smiley:

Roughly translated;
"Who cares about the impact of the choices we make. It's all about the 'deal'."
To wilfully cause irreparable damage to the environment that supports us......ah, that's a folly only us humans could make!

I find a massive difference between the quality of this beef and my local butcher's beef in regards to roasts.
But much prefer Iceland for their mince!
Staying out of the water argument as I live in Ireland.... It hasn't stopped raining here since Noah's time.....now if only there was a way to store and maybe bottle it.

Just back from my two local Iceland stores in Hackney EAST LONDON (NONE in either) and assistants said we don't stock the chilled variety. So very definitely a ONE OFF DEAL in any store that does stock!

It is in the frozen section (I work there) It's been on for a while and it's not RTC because we keep getting them in

when people question meat origin or how it may harm the planet they must first question their own. at 7 billion on the planet we continue to cause more harm than any animal and its not surprising when far too many have yet to evolve

very bad beef, i bought a joint yesterday, i eat it today and had to leave my dinner as it was vile,
it was like chewing a lump of rubber, however on the bright side i had 5 minutes of fun watching my bulldog bitch
make a meal of it.
