Just been into my local Tesco store (Northampton South Mereway) and in one of the freezers in the main isle they have these Harry Ramsdens 4 Southern Fried Chicken Steaks for 75p seems like a bargain to me. They had a reduced to clear label.

Presumably that chopped, bleached and shaped stuff, known as 'beaks and feet' in this household.

Just a 'heads up' (haven't voted hot or cold) but I bought the Harry Ramsden small nuggets because they said "100% chicken" but when I checked the back it was only around 65% and had all kinds of crap in it - not sure how they get away with that!!

I
I think it means the meat used is 100% British / chicken breast, and of the ingredients it makes up 65% (in weight).

What is a chicken steak? Serious question. I googled it and it looks like breast meat?
