The reason I'm posting this is because I've just bought Forza 2 for £10 from a store that didn't previously seem to stock it - let alone at £10. They had other clearance stuff too - some prices have gone up, others are cheaper still. There was a Kinect exercise game (Shape Up?) for £7.50 and various other deals.
Tl;dr: asda still have cheap games and it might be worth checking back at your local.

Fair enough.
But you can get a 12 month membership for around 17-20 if you shop around.
Then you get 2 games with gold every month and the addition of backwards compatability coming in November (I already have it as I'm part of the preview program) meaning a lot of the 360 GWG are compatible too.
That's a lot of gaming for your money.
That £10 you paid for Tomb Raider could have paid for half of a gold membership and you could have gotten dozens of games.
Might be worth considering...
