TAM airlines are absolutely awful, just used them recently to Brazil, late, food the worst I have ever had and cabin crew disappear for 8 hours on an 11 flight.........no reponse to call button etc

I flew to Chile via Sao Paulo with TAM and found the opposite - good food, good service, comfortable and new 777 with good seat pitch.
