I'm looking for flights in early December, six months return date, and can be changed. But it needs be from the south. Otherwise I would have snapped this one up. I've seen Northern China and Turkish airlines compete at this price. Anyone got any suggestions?

Have a look on STA travel - we've just picked up return from london during Jan for £430 (Air China were doing the same flight for almost a £100 Cheaper but didn't fancy it)

I booked the China airways option . Bad reviews wish I had seen this earlier. I have flown Qatar a few times excellent service the A380 is fantastic.

Qatar airways is a Skytrax five star airline. They have been voted airline of the year. Philipine airlines doesn't even compare.

I concur. I was expecting to be very impressed but the experience was nothing out of the ordinary and the seats were very cramped. I'm always in cattle class normally...

He means they are not all that good. I would never fly with them again but I fly economy and am over 6' tall and need the legroom. I agree with an earlier poster about Philippine Airlines they were excellent. Also, when you do a bit of research into which countries are supporting IS I choose to spend my money elsewhere.
