Warm water works best. However when you are not near it. This stuff is great.

Then when it falls off your car and re-freezes leaving a ice patch for elderly Mrs Roberts ready to break her back on!!!
As with most winter cases driving and so on, a little thought is needed.

I do not like these pressurized containers. Sometimes when it is really cold it will create foam on window. But these are not bad. I just prefer standard de-icers from Home Bargains for 49p a bottle

Warm Water is fine if you want to crack your windscreen or have it refreeze while you are driving down the road.

Nonsense
Warm water out of the tap and then wipe the window
No chance of either of them scenarios

I've been using hot water ( not boiling) out of the tap on my windscreens for years I'm pretty sure the cracked windscreen scenario is an urban myth, an old pop or milk bottle 2 litres easily clears a car of Icy glass in 20 seconds, and no cold hands
Opening post
Obviously pound land will see a variant but this is delivered to your door
