Major patch released a few weeks ago to make it very playable. The patch to make it what it should have been at launch is due at the end of Oct.

Current patch is a massive improvement. Fewer extreme frame drops (especially when gliding and in the Batmobile) and some effects have been put back in.

I pre-ordered. Yeah, it didn't work on day 1 but I can live with that, it's not like we don't all have lives to live and can't occupy our time while it's worked on. PC gamers should get this, I'm 4% in now and loving it! At this price, just do it!

I've only noticed few minor bugs since got it at £12.59 end of Aug, using i5 2500K + gtx460, also an i5 4690K + gtx970

This game still doesn't run well on my rig after 4 months! I can't stand the sight of this game!

I managed to get a refund on my GMG order when game was pulled from Steam.
Hopefully the patch that's supposed to be arriving at end of October will help you. Also I've read that performance was/is poorer in mechanical drives, so installing on an SSD might help you.
