These were labelled up on the shelf at this price; it wasn't until I took them up the checkout that they showed up for 35p.
I don't think it is a national deal- certain stores just like the handwash was. I think they're changing the packaging of this item so therefore having a clearance.

85p in my local today.
The goose fat ones are still £1 but none in the freezer :disappointed:

the 750g homestyle chips are 75p in ours so might be worth a check elsewhere.

Not completely off topic but in a recent blind taste Asda Homestyle frozen chips and Auntie Bessie's came out top equal but note the price differential.

Asda's website says they only have the 1.5kg packs for £2.89
