I've just ordered one of these to be delivered (extra 3.95 delivery however all stores in my area had stock at time of ordering), it has some very good reviews and considering it has a lithium battery this is a very good price (down from £59.99). Great to hear that magicfarawaytree, most people on the reviews report that they achieve half hour use on one charge too. I will only need around 10-15 mins so plenty for me! :o)
I was struggling to find a good one for £60 on Amazon so didn't hang about when I spotted this

I believe the Qualcast name is licensed to Homebase/Argos to use on their own products. I do not believe there is much tie in with Bosch nowadays (it normally says so on the device - my 6 year old Qualcast lawnmower says engineered by Bosch)

Qualcast is a brand name used under licence by Argos and Homebase (HRG). The machines at Argos are not made by Bosch nor Qualcast, come to that.
Maybe the confusion is Bosch bought Flymo. Isn't the Qualcast brand actually owned by Argos, home shopping group. Basically they use it to rebrand generic Chinese tools but then the same is true of many brands nowadays even Bosch although Bosch usually cosmetically re-skin such products. Argos have quite a few brands they own, off the top of my head I can only think of Bush and Alba but I think there are quite a few more.

Bought this a year ago (for £10 more) and its been great. Tackles anything I throw at it. I have never had it run out of charge on me yet with my maximum use being around 20 mins. Im still on the first spool of line which is excellent compared to others Ive tried (it comes with 2 full spools). I really like its ability to be used to edge the lawn and it does a great job. I would recommended it highly at the price I paid so at this price its a bargain.

Bought this myself last summer. Paid £54.99. It's a quality product. Good battery life, powerful enough for the job and it twists and turns nicely for edging and strimming. Bargain at this price!

I bought one of these about a month ago and its excellent. I have used it to do the common trimming tasks half a dozen times and its still on its first charge.
