polaroid seem to be making a lot of cheap stuff now. I see their stuff in pound shops, asda seems to have adapted their brand like tesco has technika. personally I'm staying away from these as I will CNm, bush, and alba (Argos's tat-brands) because they don't last. my technika TV has had issues with the sound / speakers for ages now, approx 6-12 months after buying it.

The list goes on, alba,bush, grundig, hitachi. sharp, toshiba and many more. Where Polaroid.Bush/Alba/Grundig are concerned the name is licensed to a manufacturer of cheap sets (Vestel & Beko of Turkey) . Sharp, Hitachi, Toshiba farm out their business for the entry level sets to vestel, built to the manufacturers specs, all the others are generic & only distinguished by the badge.
Before anyone goes into brand snobery my 4 year old samsung LED tv has died and would cost the same price to repair tnah it would to buy this one, great value for money and whish I sawit before I bought an entry level 32" samsung LED from argor for £170
one thing to be noted the sound is naff on these TV's

It's a good price for a TV to watch ordinary TV shows on but not so good for fast moving action films or gaming. If motion lag would bother you then don't buy. For regular TV viewing then you can't grumble at this price. Hot

I have had two polaroid tvs, first one lasted good 5-6 (maybe 7) years, second one is very similar to this one. No complains, I play xbox on it, watch tv, it's not spectacular, but nobody can complain at this price. Voted hot.
