These are good for illuminating a step on a path or the door of a shed etc. Most of these lower end PIR solar lights range from around 10 to 20 lums which is the light strength of a small cheap hand held torch. Great if that's all you need.
I have three. One to light up the chickens run. One at the side garden gate and one half way down the garden so i don't fall in the pond............again!

tried getting one last time Lidl had something similar but was told by the store manager he had already sold the 3 (yep.. just 3) they had received.
The cashier later seemed to imply that they hadn't sold any but the manager had kept them himself ... bit of friction in store I suspect

Looks like a good price, have they sold these before and can anyone tell me if it is fairly bright? I want something like this for our medium sized back garden, it doesn't need to be like a halogen light, just bright enough so I can see that our basset hound isn't eating all my flowers!

I bought one of these at Lidl last Autumn. Its more than bright enough to light up a path in the back garden. The light unit isn't watertight, and condensation quickly builds up inside it restricting the light. I made a plastis cover and placed it above the light to give it some protection. Worth the money, so heat from me.

Might grab one of these, should go ideal in my porch. Not too bad for shed/porch etc.

One similar was posted here last summer by the same brand. Maybe worth a look at the comments.
