Sure it wont be the best camera in the world, but Id much rather take this to the beach rather than my £500 SLR.
Not much detail on Aldi's website but here is what it does say:
◾2.7" and 1.8" dual TFT colour displays
◾10 second self-timer
◾10 special effects in video mode
◾ Includes: 4GB MicroSDHC Memory Card, 2 x AAA Batteries, Pouch, USB Cable, Photo and Video Software

Its 8megapixel by the looking at the photo too.

I don't know much about cameras but for that price it seems a fairly good spec and you have always got Aldi 60 day return policy, so heat added!

This definitely looks like something that would be of use to me taking up the mountains (etc) in any weather condition... be interesting to see how it performs though. I looked at cheap options not so long ago and they didn't get great reviews of taking photos in normal / dry conditions.
This is at the low end of price range that the waterproof Polaroids knock about in (though they're not quite as cheap).
Might be a stupid question but could this be used in sea water?

I got one last year Great little camera used underwater in the sea and at the water parks got some great holiday photos underwater and standard ones also didn't leak like a previous Polaroid one did.

Ive had a total of 3 low cost under water cameras...... all have failed soon after use. Not saying this one will, but Ivew given up for the moment until I can afford a decent one.
