Saw this in Aldi (Colne) earlier. Tastes as good as malibu for a fraction of the price or you could use as substitute for hawaiian tropic when sunning yourself on the beach!
Seems pretty good, though don't most supermarkets have a version of this kind of rum at this price? I can never tell if the 'awards' Aldi alcohol have really mean much

The IWSC seems to be a legitimate "competition" with an established framework and methodology. I find that a lot of Aldi spirits are excellent. Their gin being a case in point, in a recent blind tasting in one of the national papers it beat Gordon's and many other well known brands. I've tried their Vodka and it is also good. In contrast the own brand spirits in the other "big four" are universally dreadful. I've drank the cocobay (it came with me to Glastonbury last year) and once you've popped in your favourite mixer, cola, pineapple, whatever it tastes identical to Malibu.

I like the Tesco one Kokomo it is £5.15, but the Asda copy is more expensive & really tastes nasty.

Kokomo is also a beach boys song and it reminded me of this camel toe song

No it's actually discounted. I can't remember the standard price, but remember seeing the sign last week.

It's really good my girlfriend regularly buys this. 21% so same strength as real Malibu (most of these fake malibus are between 15-19%) and tastes just as good.
