Oil and filter change at National Tyres & Autocare with 20% off code, prices from £28.80 using code = £23.04, there is also an optional charge of £1.70 for oil disposal.
I have just booked my Fiesta ST in and it has cost me £29.06, nearly half the price that other garages are charging, and it would cost me more to buy the oil and filter and do it myself.
They are using in my car (will be different for others depending on model)
Castrol Magnatec 5W30 Full Synthetic (my car takes about 4.5 Ltrs and a 5 Ltr bottle of this oil is worth £25).
OEM Filter (worth about £5-£7)
Code is: GPLUS1OF (This 20% off code has now expired, see bottom of this post)
Note: Due to the increased complexity involved with the removal of under-trays in certain vehicles, it may be necessary to make a small additional charge of between £6 to £12 for their removal. If necessary, this will be discussed and agreed with you in advance of your oil and filter change being carried out.
This deal has been posted on here before over 16 months ago and is now expired, that's why i have re-posted it, also the prices are different now. Mods delete this post and un-expire the old one if needed.

Just got back from having my oil and filter change, I must say I am very happy with the level of service I received (Brownhills branch). The job was well done (took about 30 mins) with the correct oil I paid for and they use Unipart oil filters. Hope everyone else receives the same service that I did.
The new 10% off code is GPLUS2OF as the 20% one has expired, it's still a good deal though.

Great post. I always take my car here because it's cheaper than buying Castrol Edge and a filter and doing it yourself. Heat

I thought these guys just sucked the old oil out of the filler neck. Why are they looking for extra cash to remove the under-tray?
I would be watching them doing it to make sure it was done properly.

seems like a good deal, but do they actually do what you are paying for. thats the thing with garages, you dont know if your getting what you paid for unless you know your stuff.

Never had an issue with my local, the guys have gone out of their way to help in other times too. I always make a mark on my filters / plugs to confirm that all is removed / changed anyway. I trust no sod lol

Yep. It was well publicised some years ago. Sure it has all been stopped now!!! Actually should be through dipstick. Dipstick quite appropriate for some of the plonkers who work in National. Totally ruined four of my alloy wheels when getting tyres changed. Company eventually accepted liability some three years ago and I am still waiting for compensation.
