Or you could pay Sky £50 a month for loads of channels and still have very little to watch?

Very good price within its limitations.
Small dish will make satellite location easier than large dish (it has a wider acceptance angle).
The dish size means it will work well in most of the UK (less good further north and west you go) but can be dismissed for use on most of the Continent because of the tiny 30 cm dish . However adding an 80cm (8 times the signal collecting power) dish will give better range if you can handle the bigger dish. The real problem is UK FTA (free to air) TV like BBC/ITV etc are all on a fairly focused spot beam and outside the UK you need increasingly large dish size (on Spain's Costa Blanca you need 2,400 cm dish for example)

It's a waste of money just because you never used yours and stuffed it in a shed??
Your self centred logic never ceases to amaze me :stuck_out_tongue:
Voted hot for cheapest price, and that I have one for my small camper and it works great.

For what channels it picks up i find it a waste of money since several of them are not understandable to english people.

No longer true, a 1.3 cm dish works just fine on the Costa Blanca these days.
