Hydrostatic head rating is only 1500mm, so it won't withstand much more than a shower, but looks like a fairly good disposable option to take to a festival providing the weather forecast is ok!

While the fabric may have a "passable" hydrostatic head rating for waterproof, sounds like the seams are not taped/waterproof rendering it useless.
All the other reviews don't state anything about even a shower.
